Summary
The SalesForce Administrator I (SFA I) will interact with internal business users and Business Process Engineers to understand the business objectives and extract key requirements to assist with building and implementing changes to SalesForce. This role also provides support and maintenance for the users within the system on an ad-hoc basis. This may include the initial analysis and configuration of Salesforce to support new sales programs, and continuous improvement of Salesforce deployments to further improve workflow and sales rep performance. The job also entails working with representatives from the data architecture and business intelligence teams, as well as customer contacts for initial and ongoing data uploads.
Essential Job Functions:
Work with small program launches to implement the standard objectives, likely replicating work done in an existing program
Handle entry level tasks including but is not limited to general data entry, creation of list views and basic formula fields to allow that allow senior resources to focus on complex design/automation
Engage regularly with business process engineers and business analysts in assessing and delivering upon requirements for operations of their Salesforce organizations
Work with larger programs will be assigned as needed
Import/export small data sets (Complete tasks as assigned by team leaders
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Ability to identify, document and communicate standard business processes as they relate to the application
Ability to create and customize fields, page layouts and list views for custom and standard objects
Ability to understand and modify roles, security profiles, permission sets, and object sharing settings
Ability to create and configure basic flows, field updates, tasks and e-mail alerts
Creation of Reports and Dashboards
Ability to import data sets using Data import wizard
Ability to manage and validate data
A strong understanding of database structure and principles of data manipulation
Demonstrated ability to collaborate with various departments to ensure accuracy of data of a broad, enterprise-wide view of the business and appreciation for strategy, processes and capabilities, enabling technologies, and governance
Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
Strong communication skills (verbal and written) and work ethic with an emphasis on customer service
Demonstrated ability to work independently and handle and prioritize multiple tasks
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree preferred in field of Computer Science, Industrial Engineering/Systems Engineering)
1-2 years prior experience with SFDC administration, development and implementation
Salesforce Admin Certification preferred
Preferred experience creating SF Lightning components
Previous re-engineering experience updating an existing Salesforce configuration to provide solutions for reporting, workflows and enhanced functions
Four (4) in-office workdays per week and the option to work remote OR in office on fifth (5th) day
