POSITION SUMMARY

The Customer Marketing Insights Advisor in Aberdeen, SD is responsible for analyzing customer data and market trends to uncover insights that inform strategic decision-making and enhance customer experience. This role involves collecting and interpreting data from various sources, including surveys, focus groups, and customer feedback, to identify trends and patterns in customer behavior. This position will collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate these insights into product development, marketing strategies, and customer engagement initiatives. This position possesses strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of consumer behavior, and excellent communication abilities to effectively share findings. This position is essential for driving customer-centric strategies that foster loyalty and drive business growth.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Data Collection & Analysis: Collect, analyze, and interpret customer data from various sources (e.g. surveys, focus groups) to identify trends, preferences, and behaviors.
  • Market Research: Conduct comprehensive market research and competitive analysis to understand industry trends and customer needs and preferences.
  • Survey Design: Design and implement customer surveys and focus groups to gather qualitative and quantitative insights.
  • Insight Generation: Develop actionable insights and recommendations based on data analysis to inform business strategy and decision-making.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product development and sales to ensure customer perspectives are integrated into all initiatives.
  • Reporting Tools Development: Create and manage reporting tools and dashboards to track customer insights and metrics, and present findings clearly to stakeholders
  • Customer Segmentation: Develop customer segments to tailor marketing efforts and improve targeting.
  • Customer Journey Mapping: Map and analyze the customer journey to identify key touchpoints and areas for improvement.
  • Trend Monitoring: Keep up with industry trends and emerging technologies that influence customer preferences to guide strategic decisions.
  • Training and Guidance: Provide training and guidance to internal teams on customer-centric approaches and best practices.
  • Feedback Integration: Establish mechanisms for ongoing customer feedback to continually refine and improve products and services.
  • Budget Assistance: Assist in managing budgets related to customer insights initiatives and research projects.
  • Strategic Planning Support: Contribute insights to strategic planning sessions to align initiatives with customer needs.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement in methodologies and processes for gathering and analyzing customer insights.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Statistics, Psychology, or a related field.
  • A minimum of3-5 years of experience in customer insights, market research, or data analysis.
  • Proven experience in designing and conducting surveys or focus groups.
  • Familiarity with statistical methods and research methodologies.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel) and data visualization software (e.g., PowerBI, Tableau).
  • Ability to analyze complex data and generate actionable insights.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for presenting insights.
  • Strong Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suites (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • English proficiency.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • 5+ years of experience in customer insights or market research, preferably in a similar industry.
  • Experience with advanced analytics techniques, such as predictive modeling.
  • Expertise in qualitative research methods and tools.
  • Knowledge of CRM systems and customer data platforms.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks efficiently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Understanding of current industry trends and consumer behavior dynamics.
  • A general background in the agricultural industry, market trends and regulatory compliance will further enhance effectiveness in this role.
  • A passion for videography, photography, and graphic design-especially with expertise in Adobe Creative Suite-greatly enhances our team's ability to connect with stakeholders. This creative background will allow you to produce visually striking content that elevates our brand and communicates our mission effectively. Your skills in visual storytelling can help create impactful marketing materials, social media posts, and promotional videos, driving greater engagement and brand recognition. This enthusiasm for design and multimedia will be invaluable in strengthening our brand presence and fostering meaningful relationships with our audience.
