BASIC SCOPE/PURPOSE Summary: The Solutions Manger is responsible for the optimization, design, and improvement of operational processes. The position will help in areas such as inventory control, inbound, put away, order processing, quality control, and information management. The role will make recommendations, and act on improving workflow while driving continuous improvement in process design, cost savings, quality, and resource utilization.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS- This position helps to plan utilization of facilities, equipment, materials, and personnel to improve efficiency of operations in our fulfillment centers throughout the network.
- The Solutions Manager will establish work measurement, programs, and analyzes data to develop standards for labor utilization.
- Establishes work measurement programs and analyzes data to develop standards for labor utilization. Will contribute to the development of budgets and forecasts as required.
- Conducts time studies to determine the most efficient sequence of operations and workflow by analyzing costs, process flow charts, and customer requirements.
- Recommends and creates work methods for maximizing the utilization of facilities and personnel reorganizing workflow, relocating workstations and equipment, and purchasing equipment in adherence with governmental, health, safety, and other regulations.
- Monitors and evaluates service and cost management.
- Works closely with the project management and quality compliance teams to ensure the operations are driving quality through efficiency while adhering to compliance standards.
- Partner with operations to lead and develop local site process engineering team to identify bottlenecks through workflow optimization and process work methods, including use of lean management tools to proactively identify, diagnose and provide data-driven solutions to reduce costs, cycle times, and increase asset utilization and performance. Using lean/continuous improvement methodology, provide data and analytical information and an operational executable plan to deliver productivity, quality, safety, and cost improvements.
- This role is designed to provide direct support to operations and indirect support to the overall Innovation Strategy Road Map.
- Oversee and develop the engineering team, fostering growth and achieving engineering excellence.
- Collaborate with sales management to align engineering efforts with Pipeline growth and client launch requirements.
- Direct project management processes, ensure timely delivery of engineering milestones, and drive targeted technology innovation with solutions team
- Develop and present engineering solutions that enhance customer value. Serve as the technical expert in client and partner interactions.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Comprehensive understanding of embedded software development network architecture.
- 5 + years of experience in process engineering or process improvement, preferably in multi-location logistics.
- Advanced experience with application such as: Visio, Smart sheets, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Lean six sigma certification preferred.
- Agile and scrum master experience preferred
- Demonstrated ability in leading remote teams and managing third-party engineering services.
- Possess the ability to think and plan strategically and execute tactically, and concurrently manage multiple customers and complex priorities within demanding timeframes and ensure accountability for results that maximize contribution to business objectives.
Work Environment:- Office / Warehouse Mix: This job operates in a warehouse environment. This role will require the ability to, on occasion, go in and out of trailers, navigate around roller racks, and other logistical equipment within a warehouse setting. The position will also require travel of both in air and driving.
