Touché is a new French Bistro led by Chef Jeff Deloff, Sommelier Bob Leonard, and Bar Manager Adam Martinez. Located in the heart of Armory Square, Touché aims to bring locally sourced French inspired fare and genuine hospitality to Syracuse.

The Server positions are responsible for the dining room services at Touché. We are looking to fulfill Full and Part-Time Positions.
Applicants must be willing to work weekends and holidays.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Prepares the Dining Room for service, which includes rearranging the space, polishing silverware, glassware and preparing service items
- Greets, interacts and responds to Guests needs and expectations with exceptional attention to detail, legendary hospitality, and professionalism
- Delivers food and beverages with great etiquette, poise, and knowledge to enhance the Guest experience
- Responsible for providing thorough knowledge and understanding of menu items to Guests and taking their orders and entering into the system with great care and attention to detail.
- Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks in a given service
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
- Experience in a Food & Beverage Service preferred
- Experience related to dealing with the general public preferred
- Strong food and wine knowledge is preferred and an eagerness to learn is expected
LANGUAGE SKILLS
- Must have excellent verbal communication skills
- Be able to effectively communicate, give and take constructive criticism, and work productively in a team dynamic
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
- Basic knowledge and understanding of math
REASONING ABILITY
- Must be able to exercise judgment and make decisions based on job knowledge and awareness of company goals
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to stand on feet for an extended period including using stairs regularly
WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Dining Room, Bar, and Kitchen areas

COMPENSATION
Compensation: $15.00 with the maximum tip credit taken. There will also be shared tips. As a new restuarant the total tip volume is hard to predict but compensation per shift (which can vary substantially) is estimated to be between $200 - $400
