Schedule

• Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Dedicated procedure time, General and STEMI call required
• Call shifts: 7am-7am

Clinical Details

• Department: NB Surgery Open Heart
• Inpatient/Outpatient Responsibilities: Balanced distribution of inpatient and outpatient care
• Manage a consistent daily patient load
• Equipment/Resources: Access to state-of-the-art equipment and comprehensive resources. Multiple catheterization labs available
• Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI), Atherectomy, Intravascular Ultrasound (IVUS) and Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) imaging, IFR/FFR (Instantaneous Wave-Free Ratio/Fractional Flow Reserve), Pulmonary Artery Pressure Monitoring Device Implantation
• Peripheral Angiograms: Includes lower extremity arterial and venous angiograms, renal, or carotid angiograms
• Emergency and Rescue Procedures: Emergency cardiac catheterizations for myocardial infarctions and/or cardiogenic shock, pericardiocentesis, insertion of mechanical heart pumps such as intra-aortic balloon pumps or other mechanical circulatory support devices
• Coronary Angiograms and/or Cardiac Catheterization: Left Heart and/or Right Heart Catheterizations
• Imaging and Diagnostics: Ability to read echocardiograms, nuclear medicine scans, and non-invasive vascular studies
• Need for surgery, hospital rounding, inpatient and ED consults
• Patients demographic: Adults and adolescents

Requirements

• Board-certified in Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology
• Active CA License
• Proven experience in interventional cardiology procedures
• At least 3 years of experience
• Required Skills: Cardiology, Cardiac, Vascular, Cardiovascular
• Fellowship required
