As a Construction Project Manager (Waterproofing Applications), you will oversee the technical application and execution of innovative waterproofing solutions in various construction projects. This role involves providing on-site technical support, collaborating with architects and contractors, and ensuring high-quality installation that meets client needs and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical Support and Quality Assurance:
- Manage the technical implementation of waterproofing systems, ensuring adherence to project specifications.
- Provide on-site troubleshooting and support during product installations.
- Evaluate site conditions and recommend effective waterproofing solutions.
- Develop and implement quality assurance protocols to ensure long-term performance.
Project Management and Collaboration:
- Work with architects, engineers, and contractors to review and develop waterproofing specifications.
- Train and support contractor networks in product application best practices.
- Coordinate with product vendors and equipment manufacturers to streamline integration.
Training and Industry Advocacy:
- Conduct training sessions for contractors and stakeholders to ensure proper installation techniques.
- Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and technical forums to promote expertise and build industry relationships.
Continuous Improvement and Reporting:
- Provide feedback to the product development team to drive innovations in waterproofing technology.
- Maintain detailed project records and analyze performance data to improve processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in construction management or a related field, or 3+ years of construction industry experience.
- Knowledge of waterproofing systems, building envelopes, and related materials and equipment.
- Experience with construction site troubleshooting and reading blueprints; familiarity with AutoCAD is a plus.
- Understanding of industry standards (e.g., ASTM) and local building codes related to waterproofing.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to thrive in dynamic field environments.
- Proficiency with construction-related software and tools.
- Willingness to travel 20%-50% (primarily within the U.S. and Canada), with most travel occurring after six months of training.
Additional Info:
- Pay: Base salary starting between $70,000 - $90,000/year with performance-based incentives. Target compensation projected to be over $120,000!
