Ultimate Staffing is seeking a Quotations Specialist for our client in Milpitas. This is a 100% onsite, Direct Hire role, Monday-Friday 8am-5pm with a starting salary of $80K-$90K based on experience. CANDIDATES MUST COME FROM THE CONTRACT MANUFACTURING INDUSTRY. CANDIDATES WITHOUT A BACKGROUND IN CONTRACT MANUFACTURING WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED. PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE JOB DESCRIPTION BEFORE APPLYING.

Position Summary:

The Quotations Specialist reports directly to the Quotations Lead and is responsible for the preparation and analysis of requests for quotes to suppliers (RFQ). The Quotations Specialist may perform a variety of duties in accordance with their training experience and skills.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

* Examine, review and evaluates cost data for accuracy, price competitiveness, and supply.

* Familiar with a variety of supplier commodities, electronics, sheet metal, packaging, PCBs.

* Examines pricing and compiles finished quotes to include labor, material, test, overhead and logistics.

* Performs a variety of complex tasks working with Suppliers, SQE, Supply Chain, Program Managers, etc.

Qualifications Required/Job Specifications:

  • Must have a minimum of (5) five years of experience in EMS, (Electronic Manufacturing Services), Purchasing, Warehouse and Logistics Environment.
  • Possess a BA/BS degree in industrial, mechanical or business administration or equivalent experience
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, employees, customers and suppliers.
  • Must understand complex pricing negotiations.
  • Must have Advanced computer skills with a required
  • proficiency MS Office including Word, PPT, and Excel
  • (Macros, V-Lookups).
  • Strong organizational skills and detail-oriented.
  • Manages conflicting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be self-directed, dependable, and motivated with excellent relationship and time management skills.ERP experience (Preferably SAP)
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, employees, customers and suppliers.
  • Possess a high level of integrity in handling confidential and sensitive information.

· Available to work the days and hours necessary to perform all assigned responsibilities and tasks. Must be available (especially during regular business hours or shifts) to communicate with subordinates, supervisors, customers, vendors, and any other person or organization with whom interaction is required to accomplish work and goals.

Nonessential Skills and Experience:

  • Preferred: APICS (American production inventory control society) Certification

· This may include odd hour teleconferences with global facilities.
