• About the Role:
• We are looking for a Senior Engineer to join our Middleware/API engineering team.
• This team is responsible for developing Customer facing Omni Channel Services.
• Responsibilities:
• Apply design patterns to develop scalable and highly performant applications/features.
• Write code, unit tests, automation, conduct code reviews, and testing.
• Deploy to production and manage dev ops.
• Collaborate with product managers to prioritize features for ongoing sprints and manage technical requirements.
• Manage time effectively and work independently or as part of a team.
• Generate and update proof of concepts for testing and team feedback.
• Embrace emerging standards and promote best practices.
• Education Qualification:
• Bachelor's degree in computer sciences or equivalent.
• Required Skills:
• 5 years of Java/functional programming experience.
• 2 years of experience with Cloud stack, MS Azure, etc.
• 2-3 years of experience in Kotlin.
• Expertise in object-oriented analysis and design.
• Understanding of JSON, Rest API technologies, and data structure fundamentals.
• Knowledge of design concepts and design patterns.
• Experience in designing and building event-driven architecture.
• Demonstrated experience in Agile development, application design, software development, and testing.
• Ability to learn and apply programming concepts.
• Effective communication with stakeholders, product, and experience owners.
• Experience with CICD tools and dev ops.
• Knowledge of GraphQL technology is a plus.
• Experience in the banking domain is a plus but not a necessity.
• Pay range is between $45/hr to $55/hr.
