WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING: - Managing accounts receivable records and overseeing aging reports to ensure timely collections.
- Performing daily cash management tasks and recording deposits accurately in the ERP system.
- Actively contacting customers via phone and email to monitor and collect accounts receivable.
- Handling invoicing for deposits and shipments to maintain accurate billing processes.
- Managing credit card processing, customer credit limits, and addressing the reserve for uncollectible accounts.
- Contributing to process improvement initiatives to streamline and enhance the accounts receivable function.
THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS: - 5-7 years of experience in collections, with a proven track record of managing accounts receivable.
- Strong proficiency in Excel and a solid understanding of math and accounting principles.
- In-depth knowledge of customer processing and the deposit wholesale process.
- Ability to perform detailed account analysis and reconciliation to ensure financial accuracy.
- A detail-oriented, self-starting individual with strong analytical skills and a background in collections.
- A high school diploma is required; a college degree in a related field is preferred.
