Position Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced
Accounts Payable Specialist to manage our accounts payable processes accurately and efficiently. This role is pivotal in maintaining the financial health of the company by ensuring timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices, payment reconciliations, and expense reports.
Key Responsibilities: - Process high volumes of invoices, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies.
- Perform 3-way matching (purchase orders, invoices, and receipts) for inventory and services.
- Maintain vendor records, including setup, updates, and documentation compliance.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Manage expense reports and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Coordinate with internal departments and vendors to address inquiries and resolve payment issues.
- Prepare and process payments, including ACH, wire transfers, and checks.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes, including AP accruals.
- Assist in the implementation and maintenance of AP-related policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure smooth workflow and adherence to deadlines.
Qualifications: - 2-5 years of experience in accounts payable or a similar role.
- Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP, NetSuite, or Sage.
- Strong Excel skills (e.g., VLOOKUP, pivot tables) and familiarity with accounting software.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- A proactive problem-solver with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
