A reputable law firm is seeking a Litigation Paralegal for their Charlotte, NC office. In this role, you will assist attorneys representing in product liability and complex commercial litigation cases ranging of matters pending in State and Federal courts throughout North Carolina.

This is a direct hire, fully onsite position. Candidates must have 3+ years of experience working for a professional firm.

Responsibilities:

• Performing a broad range of substantive paralegal tasks,
• Prepare drafts of pleadings, notices, and motions
• Maintain direct contact with outside, third-party distributors to obtain records and coordinate inspections
• Prepare records summaries, chronologies, deposition materials, exhibits, and summaries
• Prepare case files for expert and corporate witness depositions
• Track and manage discovery, including the preparation and service of document productions
• Participate in litigation strategy meetings

Qualifications:

• Associates degree required
• 3+ years of litigation experience in a law firm
• Familiarity with North Carolina court rules and procedures
• Proficiency using Microsoft Suite products

Benefits & Compensation:

• $50,000 - $80,000, based on experience
