We also offer financial wellness tools and retirement planning.nnScope:nnCT Technologist responsibilities:nnMaintain ARRT competency in all clinical and technical functions of the jobnnUnderstand and operate CT equipment and related information systems appropriately to ensure production of quality images.nnEnsure proper patient identification, order verification, and prepares the patient for the exam.nnPerform exams per department protocol.nnReview and evaluate images for quality, clarity, and accuracy, ensuring that all necessary anatomical structures are captured.nnAdheres to radiation safety guidelines and maintains a safe working environment for patients and staff.nnCompletes studies within acceptable time limitations per department expectations without compromising patient care or the quality of the examination.nnProvide appropriate patient education, ensures patient comfort, and addresses patient and/or family concerns.nnCoordinate patient care and communicates pertinent information to other patient care providers following procedure.nnStay updated with the latest advancements in CT technology, techniques, and protocols by participating in continuing education and professional development activities.nnAssist and instruct students and other radiology technologists in exam protocols, procedures, positioning, and equipment.nnRequirements:nnARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists ARRT (R) Upon Hire, RequirednnCertified Computed Tomography Technologist - American Registry of Radiography Technologists ARRT (R)(CT), PreferrednnBasic Life Support Certification (BLS) within 60 days, RequirednnLicensure in state of practice as applicable, Upon Hire, RequirednnIV Competency within 90 Days, RequirednnFor caregivers hired in this role in the State of Colorado, a Fluoroscopy certification, PreferrednnSpecific facility-based certification may also be required for this role.
