LeMay Pierce County Refuse has an immediate opening for a Container Delivery Driver at our Frederickson, WA location. The position will be responsible for driving a Box Truck on specified routes to pick up and deliver recycling and garbage containers to new and existing customers at 15 - 35 stops per day. Daily work will involve heavy industrial lifting, lifting waist high, gripping with hands, moving at a brisk consistent pace, and occasional bending. This position will also be responsible for safely, efficiently, and courteously serving customers.

This is a day shift position, and a Valid Driver’s License is required . A CDL is not required but would be great if you had one! This is the perfect opportunity for someone that is interested in a CDL school and wants to get some driving experience. This is an entry level driving job and will open doors to other CDL positions as they become available.

Pay and Schedule:

  Starting wages will range from $22.00 to $24 .00 per hour.

  This is a Monday - Frida y position and the occasional Saturday. Start times may vary, but typically begin at 5:30 AM, and you'll work until 3 PM or until all orders are completed.

Requirements :

  Drivers License (CDL not required).

  Minimum previous experience driving at least a 16 ft. box truck.

  Must have a minimum of two years of truck driving experience.

  Must be available to start work early in the morning and work until the route is completed.

  Ability to do a physically demanding job up to 10 hours per day.
