As a Mechanical Designer, you will be part of the design team supporting various projects. The ideal candidate will have strong CAD or design skills, an understanding of customer requirements, and knowledge/experience in standard quality tools and management systems standards.nnJob Title: Mechanical DesignernnLocation: York, PAnnPay Range: $55,000 - $85,000nnWhat's the Job?nnCarry out design assessment and make a design plan.nnDesign and draft parts and assemblies using CAD.nnPromptly plan the project, assure needed resources, and set a realistic timeline and communication strategy.nnActively carry out tasks related to the project.nnAssure design control.nnWhat's Needed?nn3 years in an HVAC and/or automotive manufacturing environment.nnStrong CAD or design skills as per the required discipline.nnEngineering Associate degree or Technical diploma.nnUnderstanding of customer requirements and knowledge/experience in standard Quality tools: 8D, FMEA, SPC, MSA, APQP/PPAP, and Lean tools as Kaizen, 5S, Five Why analysis, Poka Yoke.nnKnowledge/experience in Management systems standards: ISO9001.
