Job description:nnSenior Software (SW) Engineer to develop C based application for medical device applications in Linux OS. A dedicated and motivated C developer to join the team in developing innovative software solutions for the medical industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for proof of concept, quick prototyping, designing & unit testing of application software along with an extended team that are critical to the operation of medical devices and healthcare systems.nnKey responsibilities:nnDevelopment of C based medical device applications in Linux OS and user interface based on OpenGL.nnConceptualization, prototyping, design, development & unit testing of application SW based on product requirement.nnWorking with the extended team (developers & verification team) to work together to enhance the application & functionalitynnParticipate in debugging and troubleshooting to identify and address software (build, algorithm/ functionality/ dependency) issues.nnGood understanding of makefile!nnRequired Skills:nn(8-12) years of understanding and experience in the development of full life cycle of application software for medical devices (Medical device and/ or health care industry is preferred).nnProven experience in C in Linux with knowledge on object-oriented programming principles and design patterns.nnHands-on experience in OpenGL based application development.nnExperience developing and editing makefiles and build scripts in a command line (bash or zsh) environment.nnProficiency in understanding dependencies, root cause analysis & troubleshooting for build related challenges (e.g. time to build, any performance aspects, dependencies).nnHands on working experience in Linux is highly desirable.nnFamiliarity with software development methodologies such as Agile or Scrum.nnAbility to work independently and as a part of a team in fast-paced environment.nnStrong written and verbal communication, judgment, decision-making, and critical thinking skills.nnStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detail!nnLife at CapgemininnCapgemini supports all aspects of your well-being throughout the changing stages of your life and career.
