A financial firm is looking for a
Sr. Java Tech Lead to join their team in Iselin, NJ.
Pay: $170-200k Responsibilities: - Deliver solutions for critical service that is built on client server architecture using middleware components and database
- Lead a team of talented developers in the design, development, and implementation of Java-based applications
- Provide Level 3 support for the current service and take lead in in the analysis and resolution of issues reported in Production and UAT
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to gather and analyze requirements, identify opportunities for improvement, and drive innovative solutions
- Conduct performance evaluations and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards
Qualifications: - A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; Master's degree preferred
- 10-15 years of IT experience with focus on Core Java, with a proven track record of successfully delivering complex software projects
- Experience in a diverse set of technologies including SQL, Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate, JPA, Junit, Mockito, Apache Spark, Storm and related technologies
- Practical experience in developing software products/solutions that are deployed on cloud (as PaaS,SaaS)
- Knowledge of complex database concepts and ensures technology teams are
effectively employing appropriate database design techniques - Ability to incorporate security and P&C (performance and capacity) requirements into solutions
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and proactive approach to identifying and resolving technical challenges
- Understanding of SDLC methodologies and agile practices
- Experience lead and mentoring cross-functional teams in a fast paced, dynamic environment
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively
- Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and professional development
