Financial Planning Analyst


Our client, a leading manufacturing organization with global operations, is seeking a Financial Planning Analyst to join their team! The Financial Planning Analyst is responsible for the financial support of business operations including financial forecasting, business partnering, and financial reporting and analysis. This person will be the go-to individual to connect senior management’s long term “strategic plan” to reality.


Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 DOE

Location : Stoneville, NC - 100% on site

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and analyze standard costs for manufactured goods to ensure accurate pricing and profitability.
  • Collect and evaluate data on operational costs, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
  • Recommend and implement process changes to optimize efficiency, reduce costs, and maximize profitability.
  • Apply knowledge of organizational accounting principles to maintain compliance and financial accuracy.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide accurate data for demand forecasts and strategic planning.
  • Prepare and manage annual budgets, create ongoing forecasts, and conduct variance analysis between forecasts and actual results.
  • Review and analyze monthly expenses, providing detailed variance explanations to support financial decision-making.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 3+ years of applicable finance experience
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • In-depth knowledge of financial guidelines and regulations
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task.
  • Self-motivated
  • Excellent attention to detail
