At Comfort Inn & Suites Logan near University, our people are our greatest asset. We are looking for a Guest Service representative to serve as our guests' first point of contact and manage all aspects of their accommodation. Ultimately, you will help create a pleasant and memorable stay for our guests. If you have a knack for customer service we'd like to meet you.
Responsibilities
•Deliver exceptionally friendly and helpful service to all our guests
•Create enjoyable guest experiences
•Be a team player and take the initiative to help your teammates
•Perform all check-in and check-out tasks
•Welcome guests upon their arrival and assign rooms
•Provide information about our hotel, available rooms, rates, and amenities
•Manage online and phone reservations
•Respond to clients' complaints in a timely and professional manner
•Coordinate with our housekeeping, breakfast, and maintenance staff to accommodate all guests' needs
•Confirm group reservations and arrange personalized services for VIP customers and event attendees, like wedding guests
•Engage guests in our loyalty program to enhance their stay, gather business information to support corporate clients, and encourage positive guest feedback through review platforms. Monthly bonuses are awarded for achieving these goals
Qualifications
•Work experience as a Guest Service Representative, Receptionist, or similar role
•Experience with hotel reservations software, like ChoiceAdvantage, OnQ, and Opera
•Understanding of how travel planning websites operate, like Booking, Expedia, and TripAdvisor
•Exceptional customer service
•Excellent communication and organizational skills
