With expertise across various life sciences categories, CBRE is a leader in managing highly-regulated spaces within the industry.nnAbout the Role:nnAs a CBRE Sterilization Field Service Technician, you will calibrate, maintain, and complete the major repairs of autoclaves and other scientific equipment and instrumentation.nnThis job is part of the Critical and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for technical maintenance services in critical client environments.nnWhat You’ll Do:nnPerform Preventive Maintenance on Sterilizers (Large floor installed Autoclaves), large Steam boilers, Washers and related equipment.nnTake apart, examine, clean, fix, calibrate, check, and take care of autoclave sterilizers, steam boilers, valves, and related equipment.nnOperate test equipment. This includes multimeters, frequency generators, and counters, galvanometers, digital logic probes, and oscilloscopes.nnCoordinate the removal of equipment requiring extensive repairs during scheduled maintenance periods.nnTroubleshoot, service or resolve problems while performing unscheduled work.nnRecord and report abnormal functions or out-of-tolerance conditions of equipment. If needed, start corrective action and documentation.nnReview and document daily records of inspections, maintenance activity, repairs, and other work performed.nnCoordinate with external contractors on repairs covered by maintenance agreements. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered. Must have appropriate license or certification where required by law.nnMeet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.nnAbility to use existing procedures to solve standard problems.nnExperience with analyzing information and standard practices to make judgments.nnIn-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.nnOrganizational skills with a strong inquisitive mindset.nnIntermediate math skills. The minimum salary for the Field Service Engineer position is $80,000 annually and the maximum salary for the $105,000 position is annually.
