Mechanical Engineer PE

Responsibilities:

• Utilize engineering principles for HVAC and plumbing design for the commercial, healthcare, and education industries.
• Plan, develop, coordinate, and direct a medium to large engineering projects with a focus on budget adherence, schedule adherence, quality control, and inter-discipline coordination.
• Acceptance or rejection of submittals including major items involving materials, equipment, manufacturer's quality, and field construction.
• Define project scope of work and organize into manageable tasks.
• Provide supervisor and project manager with scope of work change warnings.
• Meet with clients to define project scope, present project progress, and assure client satisfaction.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET accredited university.
• 8 or more years of experience as a Mechanical Engineer.
• Current Professional Engineer (PE License) or ability to obtain within 6-months.
• Related industry experience in Commercial, Healthcare, K-12/Higher Education, and/or Government facilities.
• Proficient in Autodesk Revit software.
• Valid driver's license required.
