Summary
We are seeking a tenacious Korean-speaking Legal Assistant to join our Korean Client Services Division. The best legal assistants are genuinely excited to help customers and hungry to resolve client challenges through consistent follow-up and engagement.
Legal Assistant Duties and Responsibilities:
- Tasked with high-octane inbound/outbound call volume.
- Initiative-oriented mindset. A sense of urgency is a must to address our client’s needs.
- Responsible for new client onboarding.
- Monitor all potential new client inquiries (email, internet, phone, and referrals).
- Ensure all client retainer documents are accurate and complete.
- Meet with clients to facilitate in-person sign-ups.
- Organize files/scanned documents.
- Open claims and send letters of representation.
- Set up clients with medical treatment.
- Obtain medical records and bills and any missing information and/or documents.
- Assist with the property damage portion of the insurance claim.
- Keep records of customer interactions, process customer accounts, and file documents.
- Ability to meet daily and monthly goals.
- Perform other duties and cases as assigned.
Legal Assistant Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree is preferred but not required.
- 1 - 2 years of experience as a legal assistant, intake specialist, or relevant experience
- Bilingual (English and Korean) is required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent written and verbal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as a team member.
