Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Human Resource Generalist at Desert de Oro Foods, Inc. in Phoenix, AZ. Your responsibilities will include managing HR policies, overseeing employee benefits administration, and implementing HR management practices on a day-to-day basis to support the organization's workforce.


  • Collaborates with management, HR, and Payroll team to provide effective and efficient support.
  • Ensures compliance with employment, benefits, insurance, safety, and other laws, regulations, and requirements. •Manages and delivers employee relations investigations and prepares findings.
  • Attends and participates in employee disciplinary meetings and terminations.
  • Applies appropriate disciplinary action against employees who violate company policies, laws, and safety. •
  • Assists in employee engagement plans and executes approved programs.
  • Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
  • Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations and recommends best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
  • Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and management, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
  • Conduct needs assessments and reviews of medical information for ADA accommodations.
  • Engage with management, coordinating with Workers' Comp, FMLA, and State Leave processes.
