Company Overview:

We have an exciting opportunity for experienced Industrial/Commercial Superintendents to join a top general contractor with a strong focus on tilt-up, precast, and manufacturing space projects. Much of the work is concentrated in South Carolina, offering a chance to make a tangible impact in the region.


Position Summary:

We are seeking two seasoned Industrial/Commercial Superintendents with 10-15 years of experience in construction management. This role is ideal for professionals who are experienced but still eager to learn and adapt. Experience in the food industry and design-build projects is a strong plus. Typical annual salary ranges from $100,000 to $115,000 , depending on qualifications.


Responsibilities:

  • Oversee field operations, ensuring projects are executed on schedule and within budget.
  • Develop and manage comprehensive project schedules.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, architects, and stakeholders on drawings, specifications, and construction deliverables.
  • Maintain project budgets, controlling costs and mitigating negative variances.
  • Communicate and enforce quality standards with subcontractors and vendors.
  • Conduct systematic quality control inspections to uphold construction excellence.
  • Ensure job site safety and compliance with OSHA standards and company policies.
  • Prepare and manage daily logs and time cards for site personnel.


Qualifications:

  • High school diploma required; a degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management is preferred.
  • 10-15 years of experience in construction management with a focus on industrial/commercial projects.
  • Proven experience with tilt-up, precast, and manufacturing space projects.
  • Food industry construction experience and design-build experience are preferred.
  • Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
  • Effective communication and relationship-building abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
