Position : Assistant Project Manager

Type of Position : 12-month Contract - Full time

Travel : 50% Travel - Hybrid remote - Oklahoma (Mayes County, Salt Branch 1+2)

Hours per week : 40 - 50-hour work week - No overtime (Straight Time)

Coverage : Flights, Expenses only while traveling (Meals), Car Rentals, and Hotels


Job Summary:

We are seeking an Entry-Level Project Manager to oversee a portfolio of smaller projects, including O&M buildings, large corrective work at existing facilities, retrofits, and similar initiatives. This role requires a highly organized and proactive individual to manage project operations and ensure the maintenance of projects runs smoothly.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the planning and coordination of renewable energy projects from inception to completion.
  • Collaborate with project teams, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure project goals are met on time and within budget.
  • Monitor project progress and prepare regular status reports for management.
  • Support the development of project documentation, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Conduct research and analysis to inform project decisions and strategies.
  • Participate in project meetings and contribute to discussions regarding project status, challenges, and solutions.
  • Help identify and mitigate project risks and issues.
  • Maintain organized project files and documentation for compliance and reporting purposes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong interest in renewable energy technologies, particularly solar, wind, and BESS.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and project management software (e.g., MS Project, Asana, or similar tools).
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
