Our business partner is a division of a large global manufacturing organization with over 100 years in the business. This company is financially sound and growing year over year. Currently, we are searching for a Logistics Manager to join their warehouse/shipping/kitting location near Sandusky, OH . This location employs over 300 individuals and has a strong focus on automotive components.

*This is not a remote position, person must be onsite in north central Ohio*

Job Summary:

Oversee logistics operations, ensuring cost-effective and compliant material movement in alignment with FTC and US Customs regulations.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Manage freight contracts, carrier performance, cost control, and compliance (C-TPAT, ISF, TSA, etc.).
• Optimize freight routings and supplier matrices.
• Control premium air freight costs and resolve logistics claims.
• Communicate and mitigate logistics risks through contingency planning.
• Develop and execute strategic logistics plans, including cost-saving and sustainability initiatives .

Core Competencies:

• Logistics management, regulatory compliance, risk mitigation, and strategic planning.
• Financial analysis, supplier relations, and problem-solving.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• 5+ years in logistics, including compliance expertise.
• Experience with import/export as well as inbound/outbound
• Experience with both tactical and strategic projects
• Knowledge of US Customs and Free Trade Agreements.
• Strategic planning and operational execution experience.
• Advanced Microsoft Office proficiency; Budget Management
