Position: Senior Structural Engineer-Substation
Job Type: Full-Time (FTE)
Location: St. Louis-MO
Base Salary: $120,000 to $150,000 +Best-in-class benefits
Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
* Design steel structures, foundations, and concrete elements for substations.
* Develop specifications, cost estimates, proposals, and schedules.
* Perform calculations, QA/QC reviews, and ensure compliance with codes.
* Coordinate multidisciplinary designs and mentor team members.
* Support project reporting, proposal development, and adhere to client standards.
* Occasional travel required.
Qualifications:
* BSCE in Civil/Structural Engineering.
* 8+ years of structural engineering experience in the United States.
* FE Exam completion (PE preferred).
* Proficiency with structural analysis tools (e.g., Risa3D, STAAD Pro).
* Strong technical, organizational, and communication skills.
* U.S. work authorization required.
Preferred:
* 10+ years of experience, seismic design expertise, and familiarity with RISA, MathCAD, LPile.
* PE license and ability to manage budgets and schedules.
