Looking for W2 Candidates (EADs, GC and USC)


Top 3 Skills : PLC programming, Servo Motors troubleshooting, Electrical/wire troubleshooting.

Bachelor’s Degree : Not required.

Work Location : 100% Onsite.

Job Location: Liberty, North Carolina (While we are open to considering non-local candidates who are willing to relocate at their own expense)

Travel : 30% Domestic and International (including Japan for meetings, technical observations, and hands-on work after 3 months).

Safety Gear : Steel toe boots required.

Experience : 3-5 years in industrial maintenance and electrical troubleshooting.

Role Focus : The Manager is not seeking an operator; this is a purely electrical role. Ideal candidates will have hands-on experience with PLCs and electrical troubleshooting.

Interview Process : 1 round, 60 minutes.

Work Schedule : Shift begins at 7:30 AM, with a 10-hour workday. Weekend and holiday work may be required as needed.


Who We're Looking For:

Our Client's Production Engineering Battery Department is seeking a passionate and highly motivated Seibi (Maintenance Engineering Technician) to join their team. The primary responsibility of this position is to serve as the North American machine setup personnel (SV), enhance Operational Availability (OA) through continuous improvement, and address technical issues through problem-solving. The role will also support the Battery Department’s efforts to execute Capital Projects, from planning to the Start of Production (SOP).

This position will be based at TBMNC in Liberty, NC , and report to the Seibi Manager for Battery.


What we are seeking for:

We are seeking a highly skilled candidate with expertise in electrical circuits, particularly in modifying and developing PLC programming from scratch when necessary. The ideal candidate should have a strong proficiency in Relay Logic and an understanding of the status of various switches in electrical circuits.

Note: Candidates who are unable to explain how to modify or change PLC logic, and those who cannot provide answers related to meter use (such as voltage, megger, and ohm checks) will not be considered. Experience with robots, cameras, or safety circuits is also a required qualification.


What You'll Be Doing:

  • Test and repair electrical equipment or systems, including circuits, relay logic, wiring, motors, servo drives, etc.
  • Write, program, troubleshoot, modify, and repair programmable logic controllers (PLCs), robotics, cameras, and other electronic equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and repair safety systems, machine components, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • Plan and integrate machines into mass production, ensuring leveling, adjustments, and quality confirmation for the assigned work area.
  • Perform basic administrative tasks, including documenting work performed in written or electronic formats.
  • Solve problems and continuously improve safety, quality, and productivity.
  • Develop denwacho (detailed schedules) for assigned work areas or projects.
  • Participate in project planning with Engineering teams.
  • Demonstrate the ability to learn and adapt to new processes.
  • Support machine production trials both at vendors and internally within Our Client.
  • Certify the safety of equipment in accordance with MMR/MMS , NFPA79 , and ISO standards through "Safety Integrity Checks."

Requirements/what You Should have:

  • Industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment or equipment installation and troubleshooting experience.
  • Experience working with electrical and/or mechanical systems in an industrial manufacturing setting.
  • Technical expertise in PLC programming, including reading, writing, and modifying logic.
  • Hands-on experience with Servo Motion Controllers.
  • Proficiency in relay logic, including wiring and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with robotics, including programming and troubleshooting.
  • Ability to troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic systems, with the ability to read schematics.
  • Availability to work overtime, holidays, weekends, and during shutdowns as needed.
  • Willingness and ability to travel for business, both domestic and international, up to 30%.

Added Bonus If You Have:

  • A technical associate degree or higher, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in pre-production setup.
  • Knowledge of production processes, including Standardized Work (STW) and Job Instruction Sheets (JIS).
  • Experience gathering and analyzing quality data from multiple sources.
  • Experience with new plant or facility startups.
  • Experience working in high-volume production, especially in a clean room environment.
