This position is responsible for the effective operation of the main mail distribution centers for head office and main locations located across Canada.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, open (where applicable), sort, and deliver incoming mail and couriers to various business units. Prepare, sort, and dispatch outgoing mail and couriers.
- Handle the final processing of troubleshooting mail, requiring advanced knowledge and skills, along with the processing of inbound bulk mail, statistics, and daily workflow.
- Manage print jobs, including receiving work through emails, filling envelopes, and operating the mail machine.
- Sort and perform quality checks on advisor mail correspondence, including identifying and processing mail related to branch lookups.
- Handle shipping and receiving tasks, including sorting branch bags, lifting up to 50lbs, and sending notification emails. Pickup and deliver packages from different business units.
- Process couriers using UPS and QA courier services. Assist customers both at the window and via phone, Microsoft Teams, and email to ensure their needs are met.
- Use Microsoft Office and records management systems to process mail and requests from various business units, ensuring smooth operations for customers.
Candidate Requirements/Must-Have Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively with both customers and team members.
- Previous experience in administrative roles, courier services, or customer service, with experience in scanning documents.
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including the capacity to lift up to 50lbs.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook and Excel
