Job Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic, self-driven, and creative Designer to join our Carolina K team at our Miami offices . Please note this position is required to be in office, and hybrid or remote alternatives are Not offered at this time.


Our ideal candidate is passionate about our brand DNA and purpose, a self-starter willing to bring new ideas and refine our current product development, and someone with large experience designing for high-end / luxury fashion brands, also able to expand on designs of our homewares line.


What will be expected from you:


  • Assist in developing RTW, Swim and Homeware collections for 4 seasons a year.
  • Help report on market trends for each season to be included in collection development.
  • Keep Tech Packs updated with any changes during and after production.
  • Assist with pattern designs.
  • Be involved in full product cycle to understand current product performance to be considered during design process.
  • Constant communication with the Design team and production team to ensure clear and efficient execution in product development.
  • Assist with new factory scouting and material sourcing to improve product development.
  • Assist in sampling process including but not limited to fitting, and reporting changes to production and factories in an efficient and effective matter.
  • Assist in photoshoot production including but not limited to model, location, photographer, makeup scouting, styling and in-day assistance.
  • Help the production team to build measurement and size scale library for each product, and general reference.
  • Available to travel to visit our factories and artisans whenever needed.
  • Assist with showroom online shipping and any other showroom needs.

Your skills and qualifications:


  • 1+ years of experience in fashion design.
  • Bachelor’s degree in fashion design or merchandising required.
  • Knowledge about sustainable practices in the fashion industry is preferred.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Able to commit to and deliver multiple projects in a timely manner.
  • Bilingual (English and Spanish) preferred.
