Job Description

A leading company in the assisted living industry is seeking a Director of Memory Care to oversee the daily operations of its Memory Care facility. Reporting to the Executive Director, the ideal candidate is a compassionate leader with strong operational management skills and a commitment to resident care.

By leveraging excellent communication and leadership abilities, the new director will foster a secure and supportive environment for residents and families while ensuring high-quality service delivery and operational efficiency.

Location: Oklahoma City, OK

Type of Position: Direct Hire


Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage facility staff to ensure proper coverage and optimal team performance.
  • Create and maintain staff schedules, while providing guidance, support, and conducting performance reviews.
  • Ensure staff adherence to facility policies, safety protocols, and regulatory standards.
  • Act as the main point of contact for residents and their families, resolving any issues, concerns, or questions.
  • Promote a welcoming, respectful atmosphere for all residents, supporting their individual needs and preferences.
  • Oversee the accounts receivable process, ensuring prompt billing and collections.
  • Communicate effectively with families regarding payment plans and address any financial inquiries or concerns.
  • Contribute to the development and execution of marketing strategies to attract private-pay residents.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with community organizations, healthcare providers, and referral sources to enhance occupancy.


Requirements:

  • Administrator's License preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in an Assisted Living or Memory Care facility.
  • At least 5 years of demonstrated leadership experience in a management role within an assisted living or memory care environment.
  • Strong interpersonal, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements in senior living or memory care.
