• Job Title: Sr. Mechanical Engineer
• Job Location: Kansas City, MO (Hybrid)
• Salary: $120K to $140K base
  

Position Overview
We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead the design and implementation of mechanical systems for our large healthcare facility build projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering principles, particularly in architectural environments, and will be responsible for ensuring that all projects meet regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of mechanical systems for healthcare projects
• Collaborate with architects and other engineers to integrate mechanical systems into building designs
• Conduct analyses and calculations to support design decisions
• Prepare and review technical documentation and specifications
• Ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards, including FGI guidelines
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior engineers and team members
• Manage project timelines and deliverables, ensuring projects are completed on schedule and within budget
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field preferred
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred, but not required.
• Fundamentals of Engineering exam preferred
• 5+ years of experience in mechanical engineering
• Proficiency in mechanical design softwares such as Revit, Trace, or similar
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems and their applications in architecture
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
