What You Will Be Doing

• Prepare and file complex tax returns on behalf of clients
• Compile supporting financial statements and documents
• Review returns prepared by junior accountants
• Assist with federal and state tax audits
• Respond to inquiries from regulatory agencies
• Perform tax research, staying up to date on changes
  

Requirements

• 3+ years public accounting experience, with at least 2 years in tax.
• Experience preparing complex returns and reviewing simple to average business returns.
• Experience managing client relationships and dealing directly with clients to gather information
• Ability to do tax research
• Excellent communication skills and ability to follow through - as you will be dealing directly with clients, supervising staff and reporting back to partners
• Ideally, some experience managing and training staff
