Corporate Resources, on behalf of our client located in Milwaukee, WI, is hiring a full-time, permanent Sr. EHS Specialist.



Sr. EHS Specialist – Milwaukee, WI

$85K-$105K depending on years of experience plus full benefits, PTO, bonus, and more.

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Specialist to uphold and advance our safety culture. In this role, you will collaborate with our EHS Director to implement effective safety practices, ensure compliance with regulations, and lead initiatives that prioritize the well-being of our employees and the environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with the EHS Director to develop, implement, and manage robust EHS programs, policies, and procedures.
  • Serve as a key advisor on EHS matters, driving safety improvements across the organization.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including OSHA standards.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to proactively identify hazards and implement risk-reduction strategies.
  • Lead investigations of EHS incidents, identifying root causes and establishing corrective actions.
  • Deliver engaging training sessions on EHS protocols, emergency procedures, and workplace safety practices.
  • Act as a liaison with regulatory agencies, emergency responders, and other stakeholders.
  • Take on additional EHS-related tasks to further our commitment to safety.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, or a related field (preferred).
  • At least 3 years of EHS experience in a manufacturing environment .
  • In-depth knowledge of OSHA regulations and standards.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive mindset.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • A self-starter who thrives both independently and in collaborative team settings.
