Position Summary
As the Production Host at The Promontory , you will play a key role in creating an exceptional experience for guests, artists, and team members alike. This position requires a passion for music and culture, as well as the ability to handle a variety of responsibilities including guest and artist relations, event setup and teardown, and box office operations. With opportunities for growth, this role has the potential to evolve into a Floor Supervisor/Manager on Duty position.
Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Engage and interact with guests and artists in a friendly and professional manner.
- Act as the first point of contact for door entry, ticketing, and guest relations.
- Consistently maintain the cleanliness and presentation of the FOH and surrounding areas.
- Serve as an ambassador for the venue and its surrounding neighborhood.
- Handle a fast-paced environment with composure and problem-solving skills.
- Set up, tear down, and move equipment and furniture as needed to accommodate events.
- Operate the Box Office, including cash handling and POS systems.
- Supporting special event operations as needed.
- Coordinating with team members to ensure seamless event execution.
- Addressing guest concerns promptly and effectively.
About You:
- Must have the ability to creatively solve problems under pressure and work independently.
- Detail-oriented and committed to providing excellent service.
- Flexible schedule availability, including weekdays, weekends, holidays, and nights.
- Basic AV and IT knowledge preferred.
- Experience with Toast, EventBrite, and social media platforms is a plus.
- Physically able to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods and move objects up to 50 pounds.
