Primary Services is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Environmental Health and Safety Coordinator to support a leading company in ensuring compliance with safety regulations and fostering a safe workplace. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to meaningful projects, develop innovative safety solutions, and grow within a supportive and expanding organization.


Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with EHS Director and Operations to develop, prepare, and implement safety and security policies and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records of company environmental, health, and safety (EHS) documentation.
  • Prepare communications, data, and trend reports for facility safety programs.
  • Perform administrative duties associated with EHS data management systems.
  • Recommend improvements to safety management programs, including emergency preparedness, accident prevention, and general safety practices.
  • Identify opportunities to minimize workplace injuries, accidents, and health risks.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local safety laws, regulations, and codes.
  • Conduct training sessions on safety protocols and emergency preparedness.
  • Perform additional related duties as assigned.


Qualifications

  • Associate degree or higher preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of safety administration or related experience, preferably in manufacturing, recycling, or warehouse environments.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, OneDrive, Teams).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to conduct training sessions.
  • Familiarity with safety protocols and emergency preparedness.
  • Valid Texas driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
  • Entry-level training or certification in safety and security preferred.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish strongly preferred.
  • Ability to prioritize high-priority tasks and maintain confidentiality.
