My Client is seeking a dynamic Water and Wastewater Utilities Team Leader to join our Tampa office. We are looking for a highly motivated professional with a passion for community impact, team leadership, and innovative problem-solving. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead, mentor, and inspire a team of engineers while driving growth in our water and wastewater practice in the Florida market.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Provide technical expertise on water and wastewater projects for public utilities, districts, and authorities.
• Oversee project delivery, including personnel management, budgeting, scheduling, and client engagement.
• Lead business development efforts such as proposal writing, client presentations, and relationship building.
• Foster team development through mentorship and career guidance.
• Ensure quality and consistency in collaboration with sub-consultants and other stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Florida
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
• 10-15+ years of experience in water/wastewater utilities, including pipeline and facility design, modelling, planning, and construction.
• Experience in water/wastewater treatment and pumping systems (preferred).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven ability to manage teams and complex projects effectively.
• Team-oriented mindset with a focus on quality, integrity, and achieving success.
