Position Summary: The Information Security Analyst will work across multiple security domains (Administration, Engineering, Monitoring, Governance) to help ensure data security, compliance with company policies, and adherence to industry best practices.
Responsibilities:
1. Deploying maintaining Data Security Tools.
2. Maintaining a comprehensive Vulnerability Management Program.
3. Identifying and mitigating vulnerabilities and risks in the network, systems, and applications.
4. Analyzing and investigating security events and incidents.
5. Conducting security assessments and providing recommendations for improvement.
6. Participating in the design, development, and implementation of business software to ensure it aligns with company policies and industry best practices.
7. Coordinating with 3rd party service providers to ensure compliance with company standards.
8. Maintaining security documentation, policies, procedures, and standards.
9. Participate in the delivery and reporting of security awareness and training to staff and stakeholders.
10. Research and maintain an understanding of the latest cyber security trends, threats, and solutions.
Working Relationships: Who will they interact with (specific departments, vendors etc.) This individual will spend most of their time working with users in IT. They will work across all departments on a regular basis both as a member of select project teams and to ensure security/compliance as it pertains to company data and applications. The role will not manage any vendor relationships but will correspond on an as needed basis for software deployments, support and compliance activities.
Requirements
Minimum Education: AS
Preferred Education: BA/BS
Minimum Experience: 3 years
Preferred Experience: 4-5 years
Licenses/Certifications: CISSP, Security + (preferred)
Soft Skills: · Excellent oral and written communication skills · Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Other Requirements:
Travel: Ability to travel independently 5%. Must have clean driving record.
Hours & Conditions: Monday – Friday- in office setting
Physical Requirements: Ability to maneuver and regularly lift and or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
