POSITION SUMMARY: The Processor is responsible for preparing and maintaining comprehensive HUD checklists, forms, and exhibits, including coordinating Lender Narratives for timely and accurate submissions. This role involves active collaboration with clients and internal stakeholders to track project progress and address any documentation needs or concerns. The Processor will proficiently utilize HUD systems, such as APPS, to manage applications and ensure compliance with HUD guidelines. Additionally, the position requires resolving documentation deficiencies and supporting process improvements to enhance efficiency. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Prepare, review, and maintain comprehensive HUD checklists of forms and required exhibits, including coordination of Lender Narrative documentation to ensure accurate and timely submissions. - Collaborate with the Senior Processor to track project timelines and provide regular updates on document status and completion milestones. - Attend and actively participate in weekly calls with clients and internal stakeholders to discuss the status and progress of HUD-related exhibits, addressing any client needs or concerns. - Learn and proficiently utilize the HUD APPS (Active Partners Performance System) to manage, track, and submit information regarding applications and partner performance. - Assist in gathering, reviewing, and verifying documentation required by HUD to support applications, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and compliance with established guidelines. - Prepare and coordinate responses to HUD deficiencies, working with internal teams and external partners to compile accurate submissions to address outstanding issues. - Support process improvements and best practices to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of HUD processing activities. - Maintain organized records and documentation related to HUD projects, facilitating access for audits, inquiries, or compliance checks. QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS: - Preferred prior experience with loan processing, or a related financial services role. - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to learn industry-specific systems, such as HUD's APPS. - Ability to identify and resolve documentation issues, ensuring compliance with HUD guidelines and standards. WORK ENVIRONMENT: We offer a hybrid schedule, with 3 days in-office and 2 days remote after the initial 90-day period. COMPENSATION DISCLOSURE: In accordance with Maryland's Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, we are committed to providing transparent wage information for all posted job opportunities. The wage range for this position is $50,000 to $55,000 annually. Compensation is determined based on factors such as Experience, Qualifications, and Internal equity.
