Vice President of Sales – Space Systems
A leading innovator in the space industry seeks a dynamic and results-driven Vice President of Sales to spearhead our efforts in delivering cutting-edge space systems to top-tier clients. This executive role requires a proven track record of selling large, complex spacecraft solutions to international government agencies, commercial space customers and major primes, with a focus on hosting advanced payloads.
The ideal candidate is a highly motivated leader with a hunter mentality, capable of identifying and capturing high-value opportunities in a competitive market. They should possess the creativity and agility to navigate a rapidly evolving industry while demonstrating the strategic acumen to drive substantial growth.
You will identify the opportunity, develop/manage it through the sales cycle, get it to the point of close, and you will be working closely with the SVP and C-Level to close on deals and bring it home!
Key Qualifications
- 15+ years of experience in Space Industry sales.
- Demonstrated success in commercial and civil-focused sales.
- Proven ability to close large, complex spacecraft deals; small sales are not a fit.
- Exceptional high-level communication and relationship-building skills.
- Global experience with a diverse professional background, including exposure to international markets.
- Creative and fast-paced decision-making skills, with a strong ability to adapt to dynamic environments.
