Position: Sales Manager, Strategic Planning & Business Development


Location: Providence, Rhode Island, Bellows Falls, Vermont, Remote


Job Description: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager to join our team at Silver Forest, Inc. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record in consumer goods, and a deep understanding of retail gift-oriented stores, product development, including sales programs, carding, packaging and fixtures. This role requires a strategic thinker who can envision the big picture while maintaining hands-on involvement in team development and daily operations . This job reports to and works closely with the Chief Executive. Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve company goals and expand market share.
  • Manage and mentor the team members, providing leadership and guidance to foster a high-performance culture.
  • Collaborate with the product development team and ensure alignment of sales strategies with product offerings.
  • Oversee independent sales representatives, sales initiatives, and supporting activities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with retail partners to drive sales growth and enhance brand presence.
  • Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and ethical standards in all business activities.


Qualifications:

  • Minimum 10 years of experience within the retail or consumer goods industry.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Strong understanding of product development processes.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop a sales team.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to implement innovative sales strategies.
  • Highly ethical and positive attitude with a commitment to excellence.
