We are recruiting for a Insurance Defense Associate to join a Firm who specializes in Insurance Defense, Insurance Coverage and Appellate Work based in Chicago.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case strategies
• Draft and file legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs
• Represent clients in court proceedings, including hearings, trials, and appeals
• Work with clients to gather information and develop case strategies
• Prepare for depositions, mediations, and court appearances
• Negotiate settlements and agreements on behalf of clients
• Maintain organized case files and documentation for all litigation matters
• Communicate effectively with clients regarding case progress and legal options
• Collaborate with partner on case strategy and preparation

Requirements:

• Must have Insurance defense or Coverage experience of at least 2 years
• Juris Doctor
