Technical Engineering Manager – Manufacturing Environment


Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a diverse team of engineers and technical staff, both on-site and remotely, focusing on effective time and attendance management, as well as fostering skill development and training tailored to meet operational needs.
  • Review and approve detailed engineering drawings and documentation, conducting thorough analyses to identify necessary engineering modifications to meet customer specifications and enhance equipment performance.
  • Collaborate with the engineering department to implement essential changes and innovations based on project requirements and customer feedback.
  • Prepare and evaluate proposals and quotations to determine competitive pricing strategies.
  • Maintain an in-depth understanding of the company’s products, equipment capabilities, and relevant engineering disciplines to ensure effective decision-making and customer support.
  • Engage with customers through electronic communication and site visits to discuss product specifications, physical properties, and capabilities.
  • Provide expert guidance on application-related product performance, troubleshoot issues, and recommend suitable products to align with customer applications.
  • Conduct basic design engineering tasks and prepare comprehensive presentations related to engineering initiatives and project updates.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between the fabrication department and customers, ensuring clear communication and alignment on project expectations.
  • Support product testing and development initiatives, contributing to the innovation and enhancement of product offerings.
  • Investigate and resolve work-in-process challenges, implementing effective solutions to streamline operations.
  • Recommend and spearhead improvements in operational sequences, equipment utilization, and the selection of equipment, focusing on optimizing production processes.
  • Monitor assigned operations to ensure strict adherence to approved methodologies and quality standards, driving excellence in production.
  • Review and assess supplier proposals for process enhancements and equipment upgrades, providing strategic recommendations to improve manufacturing efficiency.
  • Foster collaboration with cross-functional engineering teams to drive integrated solutions and continuous improvement across the manufacturing process.
  • This role is pivotal in ensuring operational excellence and innovation within our manufacturing environment, requiring strong leadership, technical expertise, and a commitment to quality.

Required -Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or Electrical Preferred).
