A client in Houston, Texas is seeking a Right of Way Lease Analyst for an open-ended contract.

This role requires a fundamental understanding of Land and Land Administration, particularly Midstream surface lease agreements and Term right-of-way agreements. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic and willing to learn, contributing to efficiently administrating our land assets.

Required Skills:

To succeed in this role, you must have proficiency in reviewing and analyzing surface leases, term easement agreements, permits, and licenses. Attention to detail, adaptability, and excellent problem-solving skills are essential for addressing and resolving complex issues. Familiarity with digital mapping tools for land visualization is also required.

Preferred Skills:

Experience in the administration of midstream surface rights and familiarity with easement and right-of-way (ROW) database agreement set-up is highly desirable. A Certificate in Land Management is a plus. Previous experience with contracts and document management in Midstream Energy (ROW) and proficiency with Oracle are preferred.

Education Requirements:

A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in surface lease contract administration or accounts payable is required for this position.
