Senior Business Analyst (Contract)

Remote - Must Work CST hours

Optomi, in partnership with an industry leading food distributor, is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to lead a critical project that will involve modernizing and enhancing a data and reporting tool used and sold to healthcare facilities. As part of this project, you will collaborate with business stakeholders and software developers to rewrite a legacy tool, adding new functionality while ensuring it meets the needs of customers.

Responsibilities:

• Partner with business stakeholders, subject matter experts (SMEs), and software developers to gather and define detailed project requirements.
• Develop a comprehensive Business Requirements Document (BRD) and work closely with developers to ensure smooth project execution.
• Enhance the tool's functionality to support reporting needs, focusing on profitability, nutritional data, and other metrics.
• Act as a bridge between stakeholders and the development team, ensuring alignment and delivering a robust product.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Senior Business Analyst, preferably with expertise in data/reporting tools.
• Strong skills in requirements gathering, documentation, and stakeholder communication.
• Familiarity with healthcare environments (e.g., nursing homes, rehab centers) and their reporting requirements is a plus.
• Experience working with hybrid methodologies (Waterfall planning, Agile execution).
• Ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment with engaged stakeholders.
