Position Overview
The Data Reconciliation Analyst supports the Performance and Data Reconciliation (PDR) department by addressing accounting and data challenges. In this role, you’ll work closely with Analysts and Senior Analysts to ensure smooth data flow, maintain procedures, and improve processes while contributing to critical reconciliations and quality controls.
Key Responsibilities
- Take ownership of reconciliation breaks and resolve them within established Service Level Agreement (SLA) timelines.
- Execute month-end transactional and performance quality controls efficiently.
- Manage data flow and quality to ensure accurate processing into downstream systems.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve accounting and data-related issues.
- Analyze abnormalities affecting fee billing calculations with an understanding of monthly rates of return.
- Collaborate with team members on process improvements and maintain updated departmental procedures.
- Assist in root cause analysis and provide solutions to recurring issues.
- Organize workflows and monitor progress toward team and individual goals.
- Validate performance returns using time- and money-weighted performance calculations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (Finance or related preferred)
- 1-2 years of relevant industry experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite with advanced Excel skills (lookups, pivot tables, formulas, etc.)
- Basic knowledge of SQL
- Experience with database management
- Financial Expertise : Strong understanding of complex financial vehicles and multi-sleeve reconciliation
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to work independently
