The Ford Agency is recruiting for an temporary Fundraising Events Coordinator to join a Bethesda based non-profit as they enter their busy fundraising season. This role will coordinate the logistics for their annual gala, directly support team leadership, and act as a point of contact for external donors. This is a great opportunity for an individual with at least 5 years of high-level events and donor relations experience looking to work in a mission-driven environment. This assignment is expected to last until May with the possibility to for permanent hire.
Responsibilities Include:
- Oversee event planning logistics for the annual gala
- Assist with the production of meeting materials and mailers
- Support donor research, cultivation, and communication
- Project manage and monitor deadlines for key deliverables
- Administrative support such as managing calendars and drafting correspondence
Qualifications Include:
- Bachelor's Degree
- 5-7 years' experience in the fundraising, development, and meeting space
- Knowledge of Salesforce strongly preferred
- Experience problem solving and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to juggle the logistics of a large, high level event
Candidates for this position must be based in DC, MD, or VA area or have independent plans for relocation.
