Position Overview:

As the Service Manager, you will play a crucial role in executing strategies that foster profitability, growth, and market penetration. Reporting directly to the Business Unit President, you will oversee the commercial service force and promote a range of service offerings, including planned service agreements, mechanical retrofits, and operational maintenance. Your leadership will be instrumental in developing long-term relationships with key customers, ensuring that contractual commitments are met, and maintaining the highest standards of quality.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement an annual operational plan to achieve corporate revenue and profit goals.
  • Lead, train, and evaluate a team of service technicians, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with strategically important customers.
  • Monitor and control expenses while maximizing resource utilization to improve profit margins.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to service technicians and sales representatives.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of eight years of progressive commercial service experience, including three years in a management role with direct P&L responsibility.
  • Strong financial management skills, with the ability to forecast revenue and profitability accurately.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with a knack for fostering client relationships and conveying complex information effectively.
  • Proven leadership ability, inspiring and motivating team members while managing internal processes efficiently.
