Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Civil Engineer with a P.E. (Professional Engineer) license or E.I.T. (Engineer in Training) certification to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in residential, commercial, and land development projects, with a strong understanding of site development, grading, drainage, and permitting processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support the design and development of residential, commercial, and land development projects.
  • Prepare site development plans, grading, drainage, utility designs, and erosion control plans.
  • Conduct feasibility studies, site assessments, and due diligence for land development.
  • Collaborate with project managers, architects, contractors, and government agencies to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Oversee project documentation, permitting, and construction administration.
  • Utilize engineering software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D for design and modeling.
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables while maintaining high-quality standards.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • P.E. (Professional Engineer) license in Texas or E.I.T. (Engineer in Training) certification with the ability to obtain P.E. licensure.
  • 3+ years of experience in civil engineering, focusing on residential, commercial, and land development projects.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D , Hydrology/Hydraulic modeling software , and Microsoft Office Suite .
  • Strong understanding of local and state regulations, permitting processes, and construction standards.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience working with TxDOT and municipal projects.
  • Knowledge of stormwater management, utility design, and roadway design.
  • Familiarity with sustainable design practices and LEED standards.
