Summary:
The Sr. Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for updating and overseeing the recruitment and hiring process within company. This includes recruiting procedures, tracking recruiting metrics, improving recruitment processes to better streamline staffing operations. Assisting client relationships and overall responsibly of the staffing clients requisition. The Sr. Talent Acquisition Specialist will work closely with our Director of Staffing Operations to manage sourcing, interviewing and employment processes.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for day-to-day recruitment activities including the following:
- processing recruitment requisitions – from external staffing clients and/or internal Hawk users;
- daily interface with the company’s Applicant Tracking System (ATS) where the entire recruitment process is managed;
- interface and management of recruitment job boards such as LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, Monster, etc.
- recruitment of qualified candidates/resources;
- Update current and design new recruiting procedures
- Manage tracking of recruiting metrics for quarterly reporting
- Implement new processes to improve overall efficiency
- maintain hotlist of candidates for repetitive roles
- support large bids/tenders with resourcing needs;
- rate/salary and other commercial negotiations with the candidates;
- development of commercial proposal and timely submittal of approved candidates to client(s) for review and consideration.
- management of all pre-employment processes (reference checks, background checks, drug testing, etc.);
- management of the employment and onboarding process (preparation of offer letter, benefits enrollment, etc.)
- Recommend ways to improve our employer brand
- Coordinate with clients to forecast future hiring needs
- Stay up-to-date on labor legislation and inform recruiters and managers about changes in regulations
- Participate in job fairs and career events
- Build the company’s professional network through relationships with HR professionals, colleges and other partners
- Responsible for company events/outings
Skills:
- Hands-on experience with Applicant Tracking Systems and HR databases
- Knowledge of labor legislation
- Experience with (phone and in-person) interviews, candidate screening and evaluation
- Familiarity with social media and other professional networks
- Excellent verbal and written communication and team management skills
Strong decision-making skills
Able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
Ability to prioritize and manage time efficiently
Education:
- High school diploma required. Associate's or Bachelor's degree in business or related field a plus.
- 5+ years of recruiting experience required.
- Technical recruiting experience a plus.
