Position Overview
We are seeking an ERP Oracle Fusion Engineer to join our team during a critical phase of migrating from PeopleSoft to Oracle Cloud. This role is primarily focused on production support, requiring a strong technical foundation and familiarity with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC). The ideal candidate will have experience in identifying and resolving bugs, providing post-migration support, and working collaboratively with internal teams to ensure a seamless transition.
This is a hands-on role with a 70% technical and 30% functional split, ideal for someone with solid technical expertise and a foundational understanding of financial systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide production support for Oracle Cloud ERP post-migration.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, including bug fixes, as part of the migration to Oracle Cloud.
- Leverage Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) to ensure smooth integrations and system functionality.
- Develop, maintain, and enhance VIP and OTBI reports to meet business needs.
- Support refreshes, patches, and system updates in the Oracle environment.
- Collaborate with the corporate accounting and PeopleSoft teams to address technical requirements and resolve issues.
- Ensure effective communication with internal stakeholders and team members.
Required Qualifications
- Experience: 3-5+ years of experience in technical Oracle support, with a focus on production support and bug resolution.
- Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC): Proficiency in OIC is essential.
- Communication Skills: Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members and provide effective updates.
- Functional Knowledge: Basic understanding of financial systems and ERP processes.
Preferred Qualifications
- Migration Experience: Hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud migrations is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with performing refreshes and patches in Oracle environments.
